Asparagus

We put in four asparagus plants this evening.  Gridley helped put composted cow manure in the trench we dug.  We had a nice conversation about the "cow poop" we were putting in the garden. He observed that it didn't look much like cow poop to him, and it didn't smell bad either.  I have to say, it was probably one of the more pleasant conversations about poop we've had recently, and there have been many!
